I am Jilli Schuler, the art teacher at White Pigeon Middle and High School! This is my third year teaching and I am so proud to be a Chief! I grew up the youngest of four kids in the small town of Albion, Michigan. I studied Art Education at Hope College in Holland Michigan. Art has always been apart of my life and I enjoy watching and helping others discover their life through the arts.
Growing up the youngest in a family of six, five of them being educators, I was first inclined to resist the thought of becoming a teacher. However, I quickly realized that the classroom is where I want and need to be as art education and teaching has become my passion and calling. I believe the arts play a crucial role in the development of our youth. It is unbelievable how creative the human mind can be if we foster and encourage it, especially the minds of our students today. It is my job to do just that, foster and encourage the creative potential of the next generation of young people.
This is my e-portfolio site if you would like to view my classroom site click on this link! Note that parts are still under construction.
Thanks and if you have any questions or concerns please contact me!
